    Hi,
regarding the Omega 3 oil, is this the same as the Fish Oil I have been having thru the 112 day challenge. Im currently having 3 in the morning and trying my hardest to remember another 3 with dinner.

Is it ok to continue with the Rice milk and Body type cereal with full fat yogurt & flax seed oil for brekkie? Or are we avoiding that for the blitz? I saw that karen was to “shelve” the WBC for the 21 days….??

  3. Linda

    Hi Damien

I am about to start the blitz -should I continue with my supplements that I am taking for the 112 Challenge?

    Thanks
    Linda

I can’t seem to view any of the videos for the body blitz program. In particular I wanted to view the Getting Started one in the hope that it would explain when carbs can be eaten and what sort of carbs. The main PDF shows no carbs allowance at all – just protein, veges, fruit and oils. Are the whole three weeks based on no carbs?

Anyway in the “video box” it says the video is not available.

    1. damian

Hi there Carolyn, the video is working now πŸ™‚ there are plenty of carbs from the consumption of fruits, veggies and salads.

  6. ROBERTA JACK

    Hi again,

I’m reparing to start my 21 days this Thursday so cramming in all the info I can πŸ™‚

Your promo page indicates that included in the programme is:
Downloadable MP3 Recording Four The dynamic duo of Phyllis Briggs and Damian Kristof share their story on how they met and their personal missions to help as many people as possible lose the weight once and for all! Damian shares his very personal story on what lead him to Naturopathy, then to Chiropractic and why he lives and breathes nutrition. Phyllis shares her story on losing 33 kilos and how her life has changed by now making her number one focus other peoples’ weight loss.

I can’t see this anywhere on the Members Download page…can you point me in the right direction please.

    Thnx

    1. damian

Hi there roberta, i am looking into that as to why that has disappeared. it will be back up shortly. Apologies. the getting started video is now working.

      1. ROBERTA JACK

Ok. Can you please also have a look at the last few responses to Download 2…also an access problem.
        Thanx πŸ™‚

        1. damian

          Hey Roberta,

Please accept my apologies for the time to sort this out. I have now fixed the problem.

  7. Loralee Chittenden

    Hi,
Sorry I’m not sure if this is the place to ask.
I have just signed up for the 21 day challenge and have read the booklet, looked at the menu plan and listened to the getting started info. My problem is that I am struggling with working out what to eat. I won’t be able to access salmon, tuna or boccini and am not a big fan of eggs. I know you have said to make your own meal plans up but I am feeling disheartened before beginning because I feel like the menu is a bit out of reach.
    Thanks for your help.

    1. phyllis

Hmm what about your lamb, steak, chicken?
sorry Loralee but I don’t usually comment on food questions because that’s Damian’s domain but from reading above, i think there is some old behaviour creeping in and that’s finding an excuse not to succeed before you begin πŸ™‚
please go back and make the effort to find things you like and think about what you would you normally eat and why it’s not served you

      1. damian

        HI there Loralee, Damian here.

Do you live in an area where you have limited supplies is that what you are saying? The snacks are on top of your normal food intake… but they are there as an option, not a requirement so if you need them have them, but if you can push through then you will experience a different result. The frozen berries are a great option. Where do you live? i am intrigued πŸ™‚

        1. Loralee Chittenden

          Hi,
I live in Sth Taranaki but live 15 mins from the closest town which has three supermarkets but no deli’s etc. I also have access to a lot of beef so would prefer to use that. Fish isn’t really an option as I am not in town regularly to get it.
I am just trying to make sure I do it all to the book so want to get it right. I have just found that if I have don’t have eggs for breakfast then the alternative is 2 dessertspoons of yoghurt, and on the menu it says I could have 150g of chicken as well as 50g of cottage cheese but is that not too much protein? Also I see on the menu kumara, potato and cheese are allowed but they aren’t on the ‘allowed’ list. Sorry for all the questions but like I said I want to make sure I do it right.

          Thanks for your help.

  8. Sarah Johnstone

    Hi there,

I’m keen to get started but have a few questions:

I notice that most of the fruit listed is currently out of season in NZ (but maybe available at a price) Are kiwifruit, pears, grapes and/or mandarins ok alternatives?

Would it be safe to say that all veges except potatoes are ok?

Also looking at your example menu planner for the fats and oils at each meal would that be the avocado and cheeses.

One last question : the promo mentions that the diet is not suitable during pregnancy – but do you think it would be ok to do if you are trying to get pregnant and hence could possibly be in the first month of pregnancy – I would stop once finding out that I’m pregnant but there is the ‘unsure weeks” in between? sorry if that sounds confusing!

    Thanks

    1. damian

      HI there Sarah,

Yeah pretty much all veggies πŸ™‚ but preferably the ones in the list are ideal. i am happy for you to use fats in any of the forms in the manual in any of the meals:) go for gold.

If you aren’t pregnant you will be fine πŸ™‚ its not ideal to put the body under stress of any kind when you are pregnant, thats why there is a warning πŸ™‚

      Good luck.

      Damian

  9. Claire

    Hi,
I was just wondering where I can find the daily checklist that is mentioned under the section on Ketostix.

    thanks

    1. damian

Hi there Claire, do you mean where is the measurement of the Ketostix reading? Its on the side of the box, if that is what you mean?

  10. ican

    Hi,
I am just looking for a bit of advice.
I have been going for 12 days now and have been following the plan exactly.
In the first 2 days I lost 1.3kg and the next 5 days 0.9kgs, which I was relatively happy with. In the last 4 days I have lost .1, 0, .1 and gained .1 today. I realise you say not to weigh every day but if I had have weighed weekly it would have been 1.9kg in a week then only 0.4 in the second week.
So my concern is that at this rate I will struggle to lose 3kgs let alone anymore. I am also concerned about gaining.
Do I need to change things around?
    Thanks

    1. damian

HI there Loralee, stick to the game plan. Its not feasible for the body to be 100% consistent. are you using any of the products? are you measuring ketones using the Ketostix? Are you taking uroplex and did you use the colon clear?

  11. Shalini Jeet

    Hi Damian & Phyllis

I have finished my 7days of my 21 day challenge. I have lost 2.8kgs. I also have been measuring ketones using the Ketostix. It was negative. What does that mean in terms of fat loss?

    Thanks
    Shalini

    1. damian

      HI there Shalini,

Negative is fine – we get you to test it more so from a safety point of view. Congratulations on your results after 7 days.

  12. Louise Moloney

    Hi Phyllis,
I’ve just joined up through the “Grab One” special (many thanks for the opportunity). With the 21 day challenge, does it mean I only have access as a member for the 21 days from when I joined or does the access carry on until 21 days after the 25th September.
    Thanks for clarifying.
    Louise:)

    1. damian

HI there Louise, there have been a lot of tech issues over the last 24 hours and we are so sorry for that. we will be extending access to the site for everyone – this will be explained in the next few days with your emails.

      thanks

      Damian

  13. Lisa

    Hi

Im just a bit confused around the addition of carbs such as rice, pasta, bread back into the diet. Do we exclude these entorely for the 21 days and then wean back to being able to incorporate into our meals? Or is there a stage throughout the programme in which we can start to include a small amount of rice, pasta etc into the meals?

    1. damian

      Hi there Lisa,

you avoid them for the whole 21 days – do you have much weight to lose?

Once you get close to your target weight – you introduce them to one meal a day every other day to see how your body handles them. Its important at this stage that you look for signs of sluggish carb metabolism – dark circles under your eyes, fatigue after food, weight gain, bloating and flatulence.

      i hope that makes sense.

      Damian

  14. Parekura Rohe-Belmont

    Hi there
Is there instructions as to poach an apple please? I have never heard of it apologies for my ignorance πŸ™‚

    1. damian

      Hi there Parekura,

best to peel the apple, sit it in a saucepan with some blueberries, a cinnamon stick and enough water to cover it half way. let it boil then drop it to a simmer for 15 mins and you are all done πŸ™‚

      its that easy.

  15. VanessaBe

Hi, I’m not sure if I need to update my computer or not but I can’t access the video.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks.
    Vanessa.

    1. Haylee

      Hi VanessaBe,

We have checked the videos and they are all fine. It could be either your computer or internet connection that is giving you troubles.
